Audit Committee Meeting Schedule

The Audit Committee was first established in 2007 and it assists the Board in fulfilling its responsibility for oversight of the quality and integrity of the State Fund accounting, auditing, and financial reporting practices and the management of State Fund’s financial risks. The Committee also oversees:

• the preparation, presentation and integrity of the financial statements and financial reporting processes, policies and practices;
• State Fund’s internal accounting systems, and financial and operational controls;
• assessing the qualifications and independence of the independent auditor;
• the performance of the State Fund’s Internal Audit function;
• hiring, evaluating and assuring the performance of the independent auditor; and
• the State Fund’s compliance with legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
