We Won the Fit2Be Cancer Free Step Challenge

Winning team in the nation

Employees throughout California laced up their sneakers and stepped out to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Fit2Be Cancer Free Step Challenge. Our team members walked a collective 74,407 miles and more than 174,000,000 steps, earning us the number one spot in the nation and the honor of being the most active company out of more than 40 that participated in the challenge.

Coming together for an important cause

Fit2Be Cancer Free is a national fundraiser and activity challenge sponsored by the American Cancer Society to promote cancer prevention. It’s an important annual event for us, with employees coming together for friendly competition while working toward a common goal and living our core values.

Making an impact

A total of 1,688 employees stepped up for this year’s challenge. At a dollar per mile, our staff raised $74,407 to help fund lifesaving cancer research and vital patient programs.
