State Fund’s IIPP Builder℠ is Coming Soon in Spanish

All California businesses are required to have an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) accessible to all employees. State Fund’s IIPP BuilderSM makes it easy for your clients to create their program from scratch or update an existing IIPP to make it more effective and compliant.

To help your clients meet their responsibility of communicating with their employees in a language they understand, our easy-to-use tool will be available in Spanish on August 31. When accessing the Builder on www.SafeAtWorkCA.com, users will be able to toggle their IIPP from English to Spanish at the touch of a button. Policyholders will be able to open an in-progress or saved IIPP and convert it to Spanish, as well as build their program in Spanish.

Providing a Spanish version of this no-cost tool will help your clients educate their employees and build a culture of safety by providing a program that Spanish speakers can better understand. All employees have the right to receive a copy of their employer’s written IIPP.
