Safety Grant Class Codes Expanded

We value the work you do to keep your clients safe. To help you support them even more, we have expanded our Safety Equipment Grants Program. This change means more of your clients can now get help paying for safety equipment. In addition to the 32 current eligible class codes, we have added the following: 

  • Asbestos Abatement (5473)
  • Door Frame/Window Install (5107)
  • Glaziers Outside (5467)
  • Janitorial Services (9008)
  • Lathing (5443)
  • Masonry (5027,5028)
  • Orchards (0016,0045)
  • Plastering/Stucco Work (5484, 5485)
  • Termite Work (5650)

Policyholders with employees in these expanded class codes with effective dates of October 1, 2025 or later were retroactively invited to apply for the grant. We’ll continue extending invitations to eligible policyholders between now and September 30, 2026.

New limit on grants

To focus on providing equipment to policyholders who haven’t yet received funds, businesses who have received the grant twice are not eligible for a third grant. But, if your clients have only received the grant once, please encourage them to apply again.
