What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career with State Fund?
“Step outside your comfort zone as much as you can. I'm super shy, and I wish I engaged more than I did at the beginning. However, by the end I feel I was able to be more out there, and I felt more connected to the speakers and class!”
“I would say do not hesitate to ask questions! There is no such thing as a stupid question!”
“There's a lot of information to take in, but the State Fund family is extremely welcoming and will be there to assist in any way possible.”
“Be an active participant and stay engaged in the experience.”
“Network with your ‘classmates’. You never know when you need to communicate with them during your work.”
“It’s ok to be nervous and its ok to have lots of questions, the team is very friendly and helpful.”
“Take notes and keep a list of contacts for future reference. Use all the tools and opportunities available to you for advancement in your careers and set goals.”
“Just sit back and relax, enjoy the process, and absorb all the wonderful insightful knowledge provided by the presenters and well-versed employees. No question left unanswered!”
