OXNARD --- State Compensation Insurance Fund and UC Berkeley’s Center for Infectious Disease and Emergency Readiness are holding a free seminar to help businesses plan for the H1N1 influenza and a possible pandemic.
The event takes place on January 27 in Oxnard.
Designed for business owners, HR managers, health and safety leaders, and risk and security managers, this seminar will help prepare businesses on key concepts of business continuity and emergency planning. Attendees will learn how to prepare their organizations for the potential impact this flu season may have on their workforces.
Registration and complimentary breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. at the State Fund Oxnard Regional Office, 2901 N. Ventura Road. The seminar will end at noon.
