Legal Seminar in Fresno Will Provide Tips for Controlling Claims Costs

FRESNO, CA --- State Fund is offering a free seminar to help employers learn their legal obligations during the workers’ compensation claims process.

The event takes place on Wednesday October 19th in Fresno.

Topics to be discussed include:

• Medical Provider Network (MPN) posting requirements
• Claims-reporting obligations
• Liability determinations, the investigation process, and producing favorable outcomes
• Additional employer liability

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the State Fund Fresno Regional Office, 10 River Park East, 1st Floor Conference Room. The seminar will end at 11:00 a.m.
