State Fund Presents Unique Construction Safety Seminar Series in Napa and Concord

NAPA/CONCORD, CA --- A comprehensive seminar series offered by State Compensation Insurance Fund will show employers innovative approaches to construction safety. The free seminars highlight methods of identifying, preventing, and controlling job-site hazards.

The next events are scheduled for September 15 in Napa and September 16 in Concord.

Presentations given by State Fund safety professionals will address how to:

  • Evaluate work sites for unsafe conditions by hazard mapping
  • Prevent soft-tissue injuries
  • Identify and controlling occupational disease hazards

The Napa seminar is located at the Solano-Napa Builders Exchange, 135 Camino Dorado. The event in Concord is held at the Contra Costa Builders Exchange, 2440 Stanwell Drive.

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. on both days. The seminars end at 11:30 a.m.
