Donald Garcia was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to State Fund’s Board of Directors in 2009.
He is President and CEO of Pinnacle Consulting Group, and is recognized as a business leader in many communities in Orange County.
Garcia's strong belief in community leadership has spurred him to serve in various capacities, including president of a local Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Orange County, Achiever’s Club of Toastmaster’s International, and an active member of the Orange County Lincoln Club, on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Hispanic 100. Garcia was also recently honored as one of Orange County’s most influential Latino business leaders.
In pursuing his dedication to the children and the future of tomorrow, Garcia has been involved in acting as a mentor to individual gang members. He was honored as the Outstanding Citizen and Mentor of the Year for his contribution and commitment. Continuing his leadership and involvement with children, Garcia is Vice Chair for the YMCA of Orange County.
Nationally, Don was appointed by the President of the United States, George W. Bush, to the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, where he has accepted the responsibility of serving as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
